System description
ARES3 is the third generation of the reservation system of Czech Railways. Allows for booking of tickets, seats, chairs and beds in national and international transport.
ARES3 includes:
- administration of master reservation data, i.e. reservation offer (includes timetables, fares, vehicles groups, vehicle type catalog, etc.),
- own reservation server (HTTP SOAP-standard web service with secure transfer protocol),
- creation of accounting records of performed reservation transactions and their replication into the central archive of primary data,
- creation of operational reports (seating plans, seating tickets, etc.),
- communication module for message exchange with systems of other carriers according to UIC standards.
Product ARES3 was developed exclusively to order according to the specifics of a particular implementation. It is not provided by ordinary users or not provided as demo version.
